And we are back ...

It has been a minute since we posted on the blog but I am going to try to update it at least 2 times a month. One of the reasons I want to update the blog more often is due the publishing of my children's book being delayed due to how expensive it and not quite finding the illustrator I am looking for.

~Travis~
Travis continues to improve with his walking skills due to this new leg brace and the insurance did not deny us first thing when we sent in for the second brace yay!! They wanted a new prescription from the Neurologist and we got that taken care two weeks ago so we will just play the waiting game and see. He still works at Heber Light and Power and loves that and is looking forward to camping this summer.

~Haigen~
He had a great year in 1st grade and made huge gains in his reading and math skills. He loves to read to the family at night and loves to solve multiplication math problems. He did the cutest thing for our summer bucket list, on one side we listed the items that we wanted to do this summer and then he made a column for an adjective to describe the activity after we complete it :)
He is loving that it is summer time and is looking forward to Lagoon.

~Tate~
Tate enjoyed his first full year of preschool and learned a lot as well. His favorite thing was recess and snack time. He is growing into such a big boy and loves to play with his big brother no matter what he is doing. He has been working hard this summer on his speech skills and is making huge improvements. He is most excited for fireworks and rodeos this summer.

~Charley~
Wow where do I start! Charley is hell on wheels lol :) Seriously though she has such a huge personality for such a small little girl its incredible. She is always one step behind her daddy or big brothers and loves anything to do with animals or water.
She is getting so big and I can't believe she will be 2 in August. She has been the perfect ending to our family.

All three kiddos had tonsils or adenoids out last Wednesday and whoever thought that this was a good idea is crazy! Everyone has been recovering okay besides little Tater Tot, the day of surgery he continued to throw up blood and had to go to the emergency room. After further examination he was still bleeding in his throat and had to go back into surgery to have it fixed. After a scary couple of hours he got out of surgery and was doing okay. Due to the amount of blood he lost during his puking session he had to undergo a blood transfusion. After staying late at the hospital we came home to wake up the next morning to some really yucky pee and dehydration we were back in the ER for fluids then again coming home and spiking a high fever landing us in the hospital for 24 hours to get him to a better spot.  It was a scary scary day for mommy and daddy but I am happy to say that today has been a good day for him and I am hoping we are on the upside of this surgery.

~Lindsay~
Mommy has obviously been really busy with three little patients! In all the free time I have right now with it being summer I am loving working on projects around the house, getting some deep cleaning done and painting some rooms I have been waiting to do. I continue to run and will be doing some local races but nothing huge this year besides Women of Steel.
