December is here and gone

Well Decemeber is here and almost gone already! Crazy how time flies when you are having fun.

2010 Has been a wonderful year for our family with our little addition Haigen. Me and Trav talk all the time about how we don't remember what our life was like without Haigen. We love him so much and he has brought us so much happiness and joy in the past 8 months and are so excited to see what 2011 brings for our family.

This is the newest picture of Haigen. He now has 7 teeth and they just keep popping out. He will be ready for steak by the time he is one :) This picture was taken Dec. 23rd. These are his new PJ's. We started our own family tradition this year that we would open PJ 's and a movie and sleep by the Christmas tree as a family. Daddy and Mommy were stiff for a couple days but Haigen thought it was pretty cool to crawl around all night and to snuggle with us.

Travis still continues to work on his legs and we are looking into a new device to use for his nerve pain instead of medication. It is called a Neuromodulation Spinal Cord Stimulator System. It is basically supposed to keep a busy signal going to the brain to make him not feel the pain. We are going to do a 5 day trial as soon as we can get an appointment and if it does work he will have a simple same day surgery to implant the battery pack on his hip. We are crossing our fingers that it will work for his pain and eliminate the 12 pills a day he has to take to control his pain. He continues to watch Will and Wyatt 5 days a week. Haigen loves his cousins and they are so good to him and help out "Uncle Max" a ton.

As for me I am just working and enjoying my life as Haigens mommy and Trav's wife. I have been working hard on losing the rest of this baby weight and get ready for my 1/2 Marathon in April when we go to Washington for Spring Break. I am training to beat my time by at least a half hour so will see where I get.

Well until next year....

This is just a favorite photo of Haigen this year! :)
