September

Well September is almost over already so I figured I would do our September post as well. This month we enjoyed camping with family and with friends. Haigen loves the fourwheeler and enjoyed going on rides with us, Daddy even took us up to the peaks where dad proposed to mom!
Travis has been going to Physical Therapy once a week on his legs and will increase that when he is done working at the end of the month. He is also off two of his medications and has been using supplements called Isotonix for his Khrons Disease and so far so good,no flair ups and it is a lot cheaper and healthier for him so will cross our fingers and hope it stays working for him. He will also be starting horse back riding at the National Ability Center in Park City in the winter to continue working on his legs. We are excited to see how this helps him.
I am still just loving being a mommy and spending every free minute I can with Trav and Haig. My job is starting to balance out a little more now that I am back in the grove of things and my students are also getting back in the groove of being back at school again. I have started to train again for running a race at the beginning of the year again but am taking things alot slower this time due to my c-section and it still continuing to heal, but enjoying getting back to it and excited to run a race again soon!
Haigen is getting himself ready to crawl, he will sit up on his knees and rock back and forth while getting frustrated he can not go anywhere. He giggles all the time now and we all enjoy getting a good laugh from him! I can't believe he will be 5 months old on the 27th! Time is flying by!

August

August was a fun month for us. We tried to enjoy the remainder of our summer before mom had to go back to work. We took a trip to Fish Lake with Grandma and Grandpa for a wedding and had a great time. We got a great family photo outside the lodge where the wedding took place.

Haigen continues to grow like a weed and change everyday. He is rolling over and laughing all the time. We are told daily what a good baby he is and he is a very good baby. We could not be more blessed with him.
Travis is finishing up the season mowing lawns until October when he will be staying at home with Haigen and watching Will & Wyatt. There will be many adventures for all of them and I can't wait to come home and hear there stories everyday!
I am now back to school and it has already been a challenging, yet rewarding year. Every year I get new students that bring a whole new dynamic to my job but I am truly grateful to be able to work with these little special beings and be able to help them learn and grow everyday despite their disabilities.
